Seminole Community Mental Health Center
Sedona Services

The Sedona Program is based on the clubhouse treatment model, a place where members can meet and mingle with their peers and become involved in a host of community reintegration groups, employment opportunities and activities. Sedona has demonstrated a positive impact on the quality of life by reducing life stressors such as crisis unit admissions, homelessness and incarcerations, and increasing life stabilization factors such as socialization, establishment of goals, investment in life activities and medication compliance. By providing opportunities for people with mental illness to participate in their own treatment, develop their own life goals and enjoy positive social interactions, members are able to thrive in the community, reduce their use of high-cost hospitalizations and further reduce the burden on the criminal justice system.
