Park Place Behavioral Health Care, Inc.

Park Place Behavioral Health Care, formerly known as Osceola Mental Health, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors, providing a comprehensive array of mental health and substance abuse services. Our 40,000 square foot facility has been designed to offer optimum multi level care in a relaxed state-of-the-art setting. Located in Kissimmee's upscale Park Place medical center, we represent Osceola County's commitment to serve the behavioral health care needs of all its present and future residents.

Treatment Advocacy Center

The Treatment Advocacy Center is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating barriers to the timely and effective treatment of severe mental illnesses. TAC promotes laws, policies, and practices for the delivery of psychiatric care and supports the development of innovative treatments for and research into the causes of severe and persistent psychiatric illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Florida Hospital

Florida Hospital is an acute-care health care system with 2,801 beds throughout Florida. With a comprehensive network of 17 hospitals and 12 Centra Care walk-in urgent care centers, Florida Hospital treats more than one million patient visits each year. In fact, the Florida Hospital system is the 2nd busiest system in the country.

South Seminole Hospital

Orlando Regional Healthcare is one of Florida's most comprehensive private, not-for-profit healthcare networks. Our facilities, advanced medical treatments and procedures, and highly qualified staff have distinguished Orlando Regional as a healthcare leader for two million Central Florida residents and 6,000 international visitors annually.

Seminole Sheriff's Office

Sheriff Donald F. Eslinger's office is organized into two major groups, Operations and Administrative Services. Each office is headed by a Chief. Operations is headed by Chief Deputy Steve Harriett who is also the Chief Deputy Sheriff and second in command of the Sheriff's Office. Administrative Services is headed by Chief Penny Fleming. Operations consists of law enforcement and law enforcement investigative services which includes the Departments of Neighborhood Policing and Diversified Investigative Services. Administrative Services consists of administrative support to include staff and financial services, information services, and the Department of Corrections.

Seminole County Community Services

The Seminole County Community Assistance Division provides a variety of emergency services to eligible residents of Seminole County.

Mental Health Association of Central Florida

The Mental Health Association of Central Florida was established in 1948 as the Orange County Guidance Clinic Office. In the years since, we have continued to be involved in the community through many of our unique programs. Over the past 5 years our organization has become the strongest Mental Health Association in Florida and one of the strongest in the country. This organizations dedication to the community is seen in its many consumer programs, Medical Security Program and Guardian Advocate Program to name a few.

Florida Council for Community Mental Health (FCCMH)

The Florida Council for Community Mental Health (FCCMH) is a statewide association of nearly 70 community-based mental health and substance abuse agencies. The Council was formed in 1958 as an association of mental health clinic directors. Its role broadened in the 1960s and 1970s, as the focus of treatment shifted from state hospitals to communities. The association’s membership expanded to include a number of agencies that specialize in substance abuse services and children’s services.

Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association

Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) is a non-profit, membership organization which represents 97 community-based substance abuse treatment and prevention agencies and over 1000 individual members throughout Florida. The mission of FADAA is to represent its members in advancing addiction treatment, prevention and research through public policy leadership, communications, professional development and quality member services.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

AL-ANON

Al-Anon offers understanding help; support to families and friends of problem drinkers. Our program is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service.

ALATEEN

Alateen is part of the Al-Anon fellowship and is for Young People who come together to:
-Share experience, strength and hope with each other.
-Discuss their difficulties and problems caused by their parent’s drinking habits.
-Learn effective ways to cope with their problems.
-Confidentially support one another.
-Encourage one another.
-Help each other understand the principles of the Al-Anon program.

NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill)

NAMI is a nonprofit, grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organization of consumers, families, and friends of people with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic and other severe anxiety disorders, autism and pervasive developmental disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and other severe and persistent mental illnesses that affect the brain.

International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (IAPSRS)

The purpose of IAPSRS is to help advance the role, scope, and quality of services designed to facilitate the community readjustment of people with psychiatric disabilities. In these times of change and challenge, we in the psychosocial rehabilitation field need a strong and unified voice to achieve the mission and purposes of psychosocial rehabilitation.

Neuroscience Treatment Team Partner Program

The Neuroscience Treatment Team Partner Program is a comprehensive educational program that encourages healthy lifestyles for people with mental illness. This program is designed for use by healthcare professionals and their patients. Divided into three detailed segments, it provides both an excellent training tool for treatment teams and a valuable resource for patients.
