POSITION REPORTS TO: Medical Director
STATUS: Exempt
CSU/CROSSROADS DUTIES 50% - 20 HOURS: 1. Attends Team Meeting Monday – Friday and do initial assessments as needed.
2. Provides daily follow up with inpatients.
3. Performs all physicals, Monday – Friday.
4. Leads Group Therapy Sessions as determined by Unit Management Team (Medical Director, Nurse Manager & CSU Coordinator).
5. Leads Medication Discussion Groups on Crossroads as determined by Unit Management Team (Medical Director & Director of Substance Abuse Services).
OUTPATIENT MEDICAL CLINIC DUTIES 50% - 20 HOURS:
1. Provides follow up medication management appointments (15 minutes each) with stable clients.
2. Leads medication groups with stable clients, as determined by the Medical Director.
3. Attends Chronic/Case Management and General Therapy staffings, as determined by the Medical Director.
4. Completes psychiatric evaluations as determined by the Medical Director.
GENERAL DUTIES:
1. Attends weekly supervision meetings with the Medical Director.
2. Completes trainings as required by SCMHC, Regulatory Agencies, and as required for Licensure.
3. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and standards.
4. Completes all required documentation in a timely and effective manner.
QUALIFICATIONS: State of Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensed and two (2) years of mental health experience preferred.

POSITION REPORTS TO: Medical Director
STATUS: Exempt
PROGRAM: Crisis Support/Emergency Services/Outpatient Med Clinic
DUTIES: This is a professional position in the Crisis Support/Emergency Services programs.
1. Complete psychiatric evaluations on new clients as scheduled.
2. Provide follow up medication management appointments with stable clients.
3. Provide treatment groups as directed by Medical Director.
4. Attend Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team and Outpatient/Case Management Treatment Teams as directed by Medical Director.
5. Provide second opinion/clinical consultation to other practitioners regarding treatment of agency clients.
6. Provide coverage to the CSU as scheduled including at least one weekend and up to three holidays per year. Weekend, holiday, and overnight coverage will be compensated as on call per agency policy.
7. Develop and implement innovative new programming in consultation with Medical Director.
8. Participate actively in committees as assigned by Medical Director. These committees will include but not be limited to OPM Team Meting and Peer Review.
9. Provide specialized training as needed for professional development of other clinical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: State of Florida licensed Psychiatrist required. Board Certification preferred.

Fulltime and Per Diem opportunities in CSU, Detox and Sanford Outpatient Med Clinic.
STATUS: Hourly
DUTIES: This is a professional LPN Nursing Position on a secure Crisis Stabilization Unit or Detox adult psychiatric facility. Many clients are in severe emotional distress and employee must be able to communicate effectively and participate in both verbal and physical de-escalation techniques. Ability to excel in a stressful, constantly changing environment is required. This person is responsible for all issues pertaining to the administration and ordering of medication, blood draws, nursing assessments, and patient care. The individual will be responsible for taking of medication orders and transcribing to MAR, administration of medications, ordering medications from the pharmacy, daily count of stock medications and narcotics, and keeping Medication Room up to agency standards. Take temperatures, pulse, blood pressure, and weight per program guidelines as well as blood draws as ordered by Physician and completing required paperwork. Responsible for taking urine samples as needed and completing all necessary paperwork and following nursing standards related to this process. Employee maintains the integrity of the clinical record through timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork. Documentation required is program specific and may include, but is not limited to, treatment plans, assessments, psychosocials, SALs, progress notes, tracking forms, and intra-agency referrals. Employee shall submit paperwork to appropriate departments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduated from an accredited LPN program and holds a current Florida LPN license. Previous experience working with the target population preferred.

SUPERVISOR: Nursing Manager
STATUS: Hourly
PROGRAM: Crisis Stabilization Unit
DUTIES: This is a professional nursing position on the Crisis Stabilization Unit, a secure adult psychiatric facility. Many clients are in severe emotional distress and employee must be able to communicate effectively and participate in both verbal and physical de-escalation techniques. Ability to excel in a stressful, constantly changing environment is required. This person is responsible for all issues related to patient care. Varying responsibilities may include the administration and ordering of medications and supplies, providing clinical assessments, staff supervision, program facilitation and other direct care concerns. Assigned duties would include either medication nurse or charge nurse responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse. Able to maintain licensure without restrictions. Previous experience with target population preferred.
